Each baby starts as a blank vinyl kit, it gets a good hot bath with soapy water and then is allowed to dry. Once dry the painting begins. Genesis Heat Set Paints are used and will not flake or fade throughout the years. Layers and layers of paint (flesh and blushing tones) are used to bring each baby to life. Premium quality mohair is rooted strand by strand to create a beautiful head of hair. The mohair is then sealed from the inside and is safe to wet and style. The tiny finger and toe nails are tipped and sealed and will not chip over time. Each baby will get a body specially chosen for them. They are weighted strategically (poly pellets/glass beads) filled with fluffy fiberfill and attached to the limbs and head.
